🔍 What is it?

Attendance Settings allow you to adjust the rules and options for tracking working hours in your company. You can define attendance types, work calendars, guidelines, approval processes, and system behavior based on operational specifics.

🧭 What can be set

🕒 Attendance types

  • Adding and editing custom attendance types (e.g. "Home Office", "Business Trip", "Compensation Leave")

  • Each type can have its own color, icon, and method of recording

  • Ability to determine whether the attendance type is approved, recorded, or informational only

📘 Attendance rule

  • Ability to create company attendance rules that are assigned to employees

  • The directive defines rules for holiday balances, the insertion of a statutory break, etc.

Global pause behavior Settings

Attendance rules/guidelines include global Settings for breaks by main attendance categories. For each category, you can choose a default mode for break behavior: Work Performance, Neutral types (Training, business trip), and Absence (vacation, illness). This global Settings determines the default state, which can be further customized for individual attendance types.

✅ Attendance Approval

  • Enabling/disabling the approval process

  • Determining who approves attendance (direct supervisor, team leader, HR)

  • Notifications for disapproved or missing records

⛔ Limitation on exceeding the daily working hours

A feature that prevents an employee from reporting more hours per day than their work pool. It compares the total of all attendance types for a given day with the daily work pool assigned to the employee.

  • If the function is active — the application will not allow you to save attendance exceeding the daily allowance

  • If the function is inactive — overtime is allowed and can be tracked in the attendance chart and exports

💡 Tips

  • It is recommended to create an attendance type for each relevant mode (Home Office, Sickness, Unpaid Leave)

  • Record approval increases the quality of reports and prevents errors in attendance
