🔍 What is it?
A Evaluation Detail shows the specific outcome of an employee's review process - including metrics, scores, comments, and history. It can be a regular review, 360° feedback, review request, self-assessment, or quick survey/NPS.
The Evaluation Detail can be displayed either as a fully editable form or as a preview only, depending on the user's roles and permissions.
🧭 What does the Evaluation Detail contain?
The selected assessment template – including metrics and weights
The result of each metric – including response type and score
Summary score – calculated based on metric weights
Optional comments – the evaluator can add pros and cons, recommendations for development, text notes
Evaluation date and evaluator's name
Assessment type (e.g. regular, 360°, self-assessment, NPS)
👁️ Preview vs. edit rating
The Evaluation Detail can be displayed in two modes:
Preview assessment — the user sees the results but cannot change the content. This mode is intended for employees and roles that should have access to the results but not to edit them.
Rating editing — available only to users with appropriate permissions (e.g. HR, supervisor, rating owner). In editable mode, it is possible to change answers, add comments, or update selected parts of the rating – usually only to a certain state (before closing).
⚠️ For some types of evaluations (e.g. general evaluation accessible from the employee card), only the preview option is available by default. The editing option is reserved for authorized roles and for the relevant evaluation statuses.
🧾 More active reviews
An employee can have multiple evaluations active at the same time (e.g. one regular + one 360° + one on request)
All ongoing evaluations are visible on the employee card in the Evaluation and Development section
From individual records on the card, you can open the Evaluation Detail in preview or editing.
🧠 Working with results
The results can also be displayed as a graph (e.g., rating development over time)
The evaluation can be exported to PDF or XLS
HR or manager can add another comment (e.g. in response to the result)
The results can be used as a basis for salary decisions, Development Plans, promotions or job changes.
🔄 Edits and additions
Ratings can only be added to or edited in a certain state (e.g. before closing) and only with editing rights.
It is possible to add a comment or response to completed evaluations without changing the original result.
Results cannot be overwritten – an audit trail is maintained and the original assessment record remains unchanged
💡 Tips
Monitor progress over time with regular assessments – ideally on a quarterly or annual basis
Aggregate results across a team or company to see trends
Use exports as a basis for salary decisions, promotions or feedback
Encourage employees to review their evaluation results regularly on their card, ideally together with their supervisor.
