👥 User Roles Overview
Speybl allows you to assign each user to one of several predefined roles that determine what data they can see and what actions they can perform in the system. This makes it easy to ensure that each employee only has access to relevant information.
🔓 Available roles in the app
Administrator — has access to complete application Settings , including user management, integrations, subscriptions, and security Settings. Can see all modules and has the highest permissions in the system.
Director — sees an overview of the entire company - access, statistics, evaluation, development and other key sections. They may not have permission to change Settings as an administrator, but they have complete access to the data.
HR Manager — has access to all employees, their data, documents, attendance, evaluation and other HR tools. Manages onboarding, offboarding, development and recruitment processes.
Team leader — sees and manages only the members of their team. They can assign tasks to them, track their attendance, evaluate them, and approve selected actions.
Employee — has access only to their own profile and data. They can edit their data, sign documents, fill out Forms, track attendance, etc.
Asset Manager — has access only to asset records and related functions. Does not see other employee data.
Accountant — has access only to documents related to wages, payslips, reports for accountants, and possibly exports.
⚙️ Where to find and edit roles
You can find all roles in the Settings → Users and Roles section, where you can: view a list of available roles, edit what each role can see and do, and create new custom roles with precisely defined permissions.
To change the role of a specific employee, go to their details and adjust the access Settings .
