Create and manage Onboarding / Offboarding

To create a new Onboarding / Offboarding, go to the "Onboarding" tab. Before creating your first Onboarding, your "Overview" section will be empty. In this section, you will be able to see an overview list of the Onboardings or Offboardings you have created and track the progress of the employees assigned to them.

Creating the first Onboarding/Offboarding plan

To create your first Onboarding/Offboarding plan, go to the "Templates" section, which you will also find in the Onboarding tab. Use the "+" button to start creating a new plan. Enter a name, select whether it is Onboarding or Offboarding in the type field and you can add a brief description. Save the newly created plan. The Onboarding / Offboarding plan is now created, in the next stage you can start setting it up according to your preferences.

Manage the Onboarding plan

Click on the eye icon in the action column to go to the Onboarding management. Within the schedule management you can:

  • edit the basic plan data - start editing by pressing the button with the pencil icon.
     
  • add individual sub-tasks that are required for the successful completion of the plan - you can add sub-tasks using the "+" button. You can also delete tasks here, this action can be done by clicking on the eye icon next to the task.
     
  • assign Onboarding / Offboarding to one or more employees - you can also use the "+" button to assign an employee to the plan and then select the employee you want to assign to the development plan from the list of already created employees.

After making these changes, you can also see the number of active employees assigned on the home page of the "templates" section.

Monitoring progress and managing plans

The Onboarding / Offboarding plans created, set up and assigned in this way can already be seen in the "overview" section, where you can see which employee is currently assigned which development plan and what progress they have made.

The progress indicator is populated depending on the number of completed subtasks. You can mark tasks as completed for a given employee by clicking on the eye icon and clicking on the already successfully completed subtasks.

You can always find a list of fully completed plans for a specific employee on the employee's detail page, right in the first "Overview" section. You can also add a new plan or manage individual plan tasks here.

TIP: Onboarding / Offboarding currently assigned to one or more employees can also be found on your dashboard in the Quick Cards area. A numeric notification lit next to the "Onboardings" section shows you the current number of active plans, even if you do not have that section open.
