As part of the latest update to Speybl, we've added several new features to make managing your HR even easier and more efficient. Here's an overview of these new features:

Asset preview image

We've implemented a feature that allows users to upload a preview image for each asset they record. This enhanced functionality brings the ability to easily visually recognize and identify assets in the system.

When a user adds a new asset record, they can now attach a preview image that best represents the asset. This can be, for example, a photograph of the asset itself, its signage or any other relevant visual material. Uploading an image is easy and intuitive, the user simply selects the desired image from the disk or from their device's camera and confirms the upload.

The preview image is then attached to the asset record and displayed alongside the other asset data. This allows users to quickly identify, view and compare individual asset items without having to scroll through the details of each record.

Change the name of the 'Payroll' chart in the cost analysis

A minor change has been made to the name of one of the function graphs in the cost analysis. The graph for the payroll function can now be found under the name "Costs".

This change was made to better convey the meaning of the function. The new name "Cost" better reflects the fact that this function includes not only employee salaries but also other related costs such as bonuses, allowances or other financial aspects associated with employees.

In this way, we want to provide users with a more accurate and comprehensive label for this function that accurately describes its scope and focus. Thus, the new name "Costs" better helps to identify and understand what information and activities are associated with this area of employee management.

Modification of the 'Payroll' function on the employee detail

It is now possible to not only record the actual wage amount, but also to add and record the hourly value when setting the wage for an employee.

So with the newly added functionality, you can more accurately record and track not only the total amount of an employee's pay, but also their hourly value if it is relevant to your payroll system.

This capability will allow you to better monitor the costs and budget associated with employees and provide you with more accurate information for calculating payroll costs. If you use or need to work with hourly rates for payroll calculations, this update will definitely be beneficial.

In addition to adding new features, we have made the following improvements:

  • The responsiveness of the corporate structure chart has been improved for Safari. The chart is now more readable for users using this browser.

  • On the employee detail, a minor change has been made to the name of one of the functions. The payroll function can now be found under the name "Expenses".

That's why we decided to make event notifications even more user-friendly and added colored icons to them. It will now be impossible to miss the event of an important anniversary of one of the team members.

As part of the update, improvements have also been made to security, the responsiveness of the app, and minor bugs and bug fixes have been made.
