As part of the latest update to Speybl, we've added several new features to make managing your HR even easier and more efficient. Here's an overview of these new features:
Subordinate Employee Evaluations
This feature allows team leaders to evaluate key performance indicators of their subordinates' performance reviews.
How does it work? Team leaders are given the ability to view and create ratings for their subordinates in all admin accounts. This permission can be set in the settings of each administrator account.
With this feature, team leaders have visibility into the performance of their subordinates and can better monitor and manage performance within their team.
Improved change request approval
Allows users to quickly click through from the data tab to a pop-up preview of the request that is awaiting approval. This makes it easy to get an overview of the content of the request and make any necessary adjustments.
Furthermore, if there is already a request pending approval, editing of the object is prevented to avoid disrupting the data flow, which would lead to an error when saving the requested data.
Thus, the user is not able to resubmit the same request until the approval process of the original request has been properly completed.
Simplifying the acceptance of terms and conditions for newly registered users
Due to the fact that we want to simplify the processes for new users to work with us, we have decided to implement consent to our terms and conditions already in the welcome message of the application.
This way, our users don't have to deal with this later and have to search for consent in a complicated way.
Modify filtering
Thanks to the improved filtering, it is possible to search correctly and accurately according to a combination of different criteria at the same time.
To illustrate, we will give an example. For example, the previous filter behavior allowed us to search for employees who either had the HPP job type or were located in a specific branch.
Now, the function accurately filters employees who meet both criteria at the same time - i.e. they work at the selected branch and have the HPP job type.
In addition to adding new features, we have made the following improvements:
- The Gantt chart of attendance has a new entry with the current date of attendance at the top, which allows you to quickly switch to the current day. This change makes the chart easier to navigate and allows easy access to current information.
- For users using the Safari browser, the interface of some sections has been modified. The result is an improved user experience when using the application.
- The document signing process has been modified so that when the cursor inadvertently exits the signature pop-up window, it does not close but remains statically open until the signing process is complete. In addition to this modification, the signature confirmation button has also been renamed. It now has the more intuitive name "Sign". After clicking on this button, a visual loading effect will now appear to indicate to the user that the signing process is already in progress.
- Improvements have been made to the loading speed of the employee list, resulting in an improved user experience when using the application on a daily basis.
- The loading speed has also been increased when accessing an employee detail, the result here is also a noticeable improvement in the user experience.
As part of the update, improvements have also been made to security, application responsiveness and minor bugs and bug fixes have been made.
