Employee reviews are a function that helps manage the performance and development of the workforce within your company. This process allows managers and supervisors to get a clear picture of how individual employees are performing their job duties and contributing to the company's goals.
The aim of the appraisal is not only to assess performance but also to identify employee strengths and areas for further development. The introduction of a transparent and objective appraisal system helps to promote employee motivation, improve performance and strengthen relationships within teams.

Design and specification of appraisals

To ensure effective employee appraisals, it is crucial to properly define the objectives and criteria against which employees will be evaluated. When creating a new appraisal, focus on the specific aspects of the job you want to evaluate. For example, you might set targets for performance, productivity or skills development.
On the evaluation tab, you can create new evaluations directly by clicking on the evaluation creation button (the "+" icon). To create the evaluations themselves, simply choose their name and the number of thresholds (defining the objectives for the evaluation).

Defining different assessments

Once you have created an assessment, you have the option to configure it in detail according to your needs. You can edit basic details such as the name and number of thresholds. You can also specify the evaluation metrics and assign them to individual employees. This way, you get an accurate and customized employee performance evaluation tool.

Specifying thresholds

Thresholds are key to defining the success of an appraisal. One threshold value can set the minimum level an employee must achieve, while another value can represent the optimal goal. This approach allows the expected results to be clearly defined and provides employees with a clear goal to work towards.

Employee evaluation process

Employee appraisal itself is a key process for fairly and objectively assessing employee performance. Using defined criteria and metrics, you can evaluate their performance and provide feedback.
With regular appraisals, you can track employee development over time and identify areas for further development.

Use of evaluation in practice

One useful option is to track the development of individual employees over time. Through systematic appraisals, it is possible to track their progress, identify trends and identify areas for improvement. In this way, development activities can be better planned and targeted support can be provided for further professional growth.
In addition, the appraisal system allows results to be compared between different employees or teams. This comparability provides a holistic view of individual performance within the company and helps to identify not only best practices but also areas that require further attention and support.

The ability to assign multiple ratings simultaneously to a single employee

With this option, you can efficiently tailor performance reviews to an employee in a detailed manner.
An employee can be evaluated based on different criteria or goals, which contributes to a better understanding of their overall contribution to the company and their ongoing self-development.
